Lexile Insights for Teachers
Beanstack’s enhanced reader logs provide teachers with actionable insights to foster student free-choice reading growth. By viewing Lexile data alongside students’ logged titles, teachers can track trends over time and gain a holistic view of their student’s reading aptitude and preferences. This information can help teachers guide book recommendations, make decisions about individual instruction and intervention, and provide valuable insights during parent-teacher conferences.
Note: Students cannot view any Lexile data in Beanstack. This is to ensure that students continue to select independent reading books freely. Beanstack’s Lexile data is intended for educators to help provide a holistic view of students’ independent reading.
