How to find a report in Beanstack
Our reports interface makes it easy to browse, locate, and run reports in Beanstack for all your data tracking and reporting needs. Report categories are listed on the lefthand side of your screen in a navigation list, starting with your favorited reports. You can click a section to view all the reports on that topic, or you can use the search bar to find a specific report.
Follow the detailed steps below to find and export a report in Beanstack:
- Log in to your admin view of your site.
- Navigate to Reports.
- Use the list of categories on the lefthand side or the search bar in the top right corner to find your desired report.
- The search tool searches through all the reports names and descriptions.
- Click the report card.
- If it’s a challenge report, you’ll be prompted to pick a specific challenge before the report page loads.
- For libraries, you may be prompted to specify the branch for a report.
- For schools, keep in mind that teachers can only see data for their own sections and rostered students, while media specialists can see data for the entire school.
- Customize the report as needed. Clicking the blue “all time” text or the date range below the report title allows you to add a start and end date.
- Feel free to also customize the columns displayed on your report to further restrict the data.
Note: Once set, these preferences will automatically stay in place for all subsequent visits to this report.
