Browsers and devices supported by Beanstack

Browsers

Beanstack supports Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.

Note: Support and protection for Internet Explorer 11 was discontinued by Microsoft in July 2022. This and earlier versions of IE are not supported by Beanstack.

Devices

We support mobile devices with the Google Play store or App Store. The app may work on some Kindles and foldable phones (but it’s not guaranteed). Although many schools use iPads or other tablets, we don’t explicitly support them.

• Android: We support any Android OS Release versions with a release date <5 years ago in these docs.

  • As of May 22, 2025, this is Android OS 11.0 and later.

• iOS: We support the Max iOS version for any devices that are iPhone 8 / 8 Plus or later in these docs.

  • As of May 22, 2025, this is iOS version 16.0 and later.
