Do readers get a notification when a staff member redeems a reward for them?

No, readers do not receive a notification that a reward has been redeemed. They are only able to see that a reward has been earned on their dashboard, but not that it has already been redeemed.

This is different than when they win a drawing (raffle) prize. Readers are not able to see that a drawing prize has been won on their dashboard.
