How are ticket drawings different from traditional drawings?

Ticket drawings allow readers to determine how to split their entries among multiple prize options. For example, if you have three separate raffles for a specific challenge and you want participants to be able to decide which raffle(s) to enter, then you should use ticket drawings. So, if a reader earns three tickets, they may decide where to allot their tickets between the three raffles.

Tickets and ticket prize options are created within a specific challenge during challenge setup, before a challenge is published. The ticket drawings themselves, which select the winner from the tickets deposited toward each prize option, are created within Challenges > Drawings. Each ticket prize option in each challenge needs its own ticket drawing.

General drawings should be used if you have a single drawing/raffle for one challenge or for all your challenges. In this case, tickets are unnecessary because all applicable readers are automatically entered in the drawing based on criteria you set. Traditional drawings can be set up at any time and can apply to multiple challenges.
