Here are some key terms to help you navigate reports! Each report contains different column configurations, which you can customize.
General Terms
Completed Challenge: This indicates when someone has completed the requirements indicated in your challenge setup. For bingo challenges, completion is when a reader earns their first bingo.
Completed On: This displays the date and timestamp of challenge completion. The timezone is in UTC.
Earned Challenge Badges: Challenge badges include registration badges, completion badges, and bingo badges.
Logged Books/Days/Minutes/Pages/: The number of minutes, hours, pages, or books logged. If a log type is disabled for your site, it may not appear on a report.
Participated Challenges: The number of challenges participated in during a given date range.
Reader Age: Represented as a decimal, and is based on age data shared from a CSV file or roster service like Clever.
Reward(s) Earned: The prize(s) earned, but not necessarily redeemed.
Reward(s) Redeemed: The prize(s) redeemed with a green check under a reader’s name after being claimed.
Top Readers: When selected at the top of a report, this returns the top 100 readers, including in the download. (Available on select reports)
Total Earned Badges: The number of earned badges during a given date range.
Library-specific
Account Creator: This is the person in charge of an account. One account creator may have several readers in different challenges.
Active Readers: Total readers who have logged for any active log type on your site during this period.
Added by: Determines if this reader was added to the system by a patron (via the patron view, as self registration) or by a staff member (via the admin tools, as staff registration).
Enrolled: Total readers that have registered for the challenge including those that may have un-enrolled or already completed it.
Registered for challenge: Readers that are currently active in the challenge
Reader: The individual who is logging reading/activities. There can be multiple readers in one account.
Readers Enrolled in a Challenge: Any reader enrolled in a challenge. If groups exist on your site, each group member is counted individually.
Total Readers: All readers on the site. Using a date filter limits this to the readers that were created during the selected dates. If groups exist on your site, each group member is counted individually.
School-specific
Flagged Logged Entries: Represents the number of flagged entries by the student from a given date range. (Available on select reports)
Homeroom Teacher: If homeroom sections are shared via rostering data, associated teachers will be listed in this column (Available on select reports).
Reader Grade Level: This data is brought in from rostering. Includes the values “Preschool,” “Kindergarten,” and “1st Grade” through “12th Grade.”
Readers Who Logged: Includes all readers (students and staff) rostered on your site who logged any active log type (minutes/books/pages) during the selected time period (does not include activities).
Percent of Readers who Logged: Divides all readers (students and staff) who logged any active log type (minutes/books/pages) during the given time period by all readers rostered on the site.
Students who Logged: Includes all students rostered on your site who logged any active log type (minutes/books/pages) during the selected time period (does not include activities).
Percent of Students who Logged: Divides all students who logged any active log type (minutes/books/pages) during the given time period by all students rostered on your site.
