What type of drawing and settings should I use for my prize drawing?

Within Challenges > Drawings, library administrators, library curators, library branch administrators, and school media specialists plus can create a wide array of drawings to reward readers.
When creating a drawing, first pick the type of drawing:
-
Ticket Drawing to pick winners from readers who deposited tickets toward a specific ticket prize option in a challenge.
-
General Drawing to pick from readers who meet custom eligibility and drawing settings.
The following general drawing types allow you to set parameters for drawing qualification based on:
-
All Eligible Readers: pick from any readers that meet your eligibility criteria.
-
Specific Earned Badge(s): draw from all readers who earned a selected badge or earned one badge in a group of selected badges.
-
Total Books/Days/Minutes/Pages Read: pick from readers who logged a specified amount of reading for a log type. You’ll want to select the log type that your site or challenge tracks to have accurate qualifiers.
-
Total Earned Badges: draw from all readers who earned a specified number of badges from among all badge types—including registration and completion badges.
-
Total Points Earned: pick from readers who earned a specified number of points.
-
Total Reviews: draw from all readers who submitted a specified number of book reviews.
You can then select specific drawing settings like number of winners.
There are a few common drawing setups we get questions about. Here are a few example scenarios!
