How to create a scheduled report

Using Beanstack’s scheduled reports tool, you can have regular reports delivered to your inbox at convenient and fully customizable days and times.

Note: Your account must have an email attached to it in order to receive a scheduled report, and that email must not have unsubscribed from Beanstack notification emails in the past. Not receiving emails and unsure if you’ve unsubscribed? Open a ticket at the helpdesk.

  1. Log in to the admin view of your site.
  2. Navigate to Reports.
  3. Click the report “card” you would like to view, either using the list of report categories on the left side of the screen or the search tool in the upper right corner of the screen to find the accurate report.
  4. Once inside an individual report page, click the calendar icon in the upper righthand corner.
  5. A modal will pop up allowing you to set the following:
    • Repeat On: Select which day(s) of the week you would like the report emailed to you.
    • Time Of Day (Eastern Standard Time): Pick the time of day you would like the report emailed to you.
    • Date To Stop Sending (Optional): Choose an end date to stop automatic report delivery.
    • Customize Columns: Select which columns are generated in your scheduled report if you haven’t already. Columns set to display will be indicated with a check mark. Columns that will not appear will have a blank box.
    • Decide How You Want The Data To Be Calculated. (Optional): By choosing cumulative, data from previous scheduled reports will be included in all subsequent reports. By choosing comparative, the data generated will be since the last scheduled report was emailed to you.
  6. Finally, click “Schedule Report.” The report will be sent as an attachment from hello@beanstack.org, with the title of the report in the subject line, on the specified day and time.
  7. You can view, edit, or delete your scheduled reports by navigating back to Reports and clicking the “View Scheduled” button in the upper righthand corner of the screen.
